Independent Legal Advice

We provide independent legal advice in circumstances where formal advice is required, including in relation to agreements, personal and corporate guarantees, and other legal documents.

We are regularly instructed where lenders, solicitors or other parties require confirmation that a client has received independent advice before entering into a legally binding arrangement. This commonly includes guarantees, loan agreements, security documents and related transactions.

Our role is to advise on the nature and effect of the document, the obligations being undertaken and the potential risks involved. We ensure that clients understand the implications of what they are signing and are able to make an informed decision.

Advice is provided clearly and without unnecessary complication. Where required, we liaise with the relevant parties and provide the necessary certification promptly so that transactions are not delayed.
